Dogs Refuge Home - Adoption Profile Videos

We think it's important to give back to our local community and, as such, many beardy-blog readers will be aware of our 'give-back' philosophy here at GINGERBEARD Media. As part of this initiative we continue to work with the Dogs' Refuge Home every few months with an aim of filming their longer-term dogs a video which hopefully helps them to get some additional exposure and ultimately, a new home.

The adoption videos you can find below will be used by the Dogs' Refuge Home for use on their social media and website. We hope through using video, we show off these beautiful animals to their best and help them find a suitable new home.

The Good Dog! International FIlm Festival

Good Dog! is a film festival screening engaging films that include a dog. The annual festival, which started in 2012, is held on Sydney Harbour. However this year it took to the road and was shown in Northbridge, Perth for the first time over the Easter weekend.

Along with airing dog-related films on the Northbridge Piazza Super Screen, the Northbridge Piazza also supported local dog charities by allowing them to set up stalls dedicated to their cause.

As part of the event, our Welcome Video that we shot for Dogs' Refuge Home of WA took pride of place the Northbridge Piazza Super Screen.

Rural Builders - Row with Richard

Perth adaptive-athlete Richard Wassell rowed himself into the record books three times; an impressive feat for not leaving a shopping center for two days and one night.

You may remember Rich from one of our early films where, in 2013, we interviewed him on his journey to the World Indoor Rowing Championships. Well, this time around Richard, in his event dubbed "Row with Richard", looked to break three world records; 100,000m row, 24 hour row and longest continuous row in the lightweight male 40-49 LTA-PD category.

A massive bearded congratulations to Richard for breaking those records and a big thanks to Rural Building Company for their support of the event. The money raised was donated to Variety WA.
