Introducing Mine and Tunnel Ventilation (MTV)

When we were contacted by someone from MTV we were confused… but then we learned that along with the prolific TV channel, it also stood for Mine and Tunnel Ventilation. Our visions for this video quickly flashed from rock stars and cribs to a more industrial construction environment.

MTV wanted to capture the full scope of their business - design, manufacture and installation of large industrial ventilation units - which typically end up installed throughout the globe to ensure underground mining operations have a fresh supply of air.

This video is part of two - the first is this punchy promotional video, the second is a coporate introduction video that is still being captured. With this video being shown at an interstate conference and exhibition.

So through September we headed to MTV’s premises as well as their key subcontactrators to capture their deign and construction process.

This video was intended for an interstate conference and exhibition that MTV were attending - they wanted something to grab the viewers attention on the big screens as well as at their booth.

In these sort of environments it’s noisey and it’s key to attract the eye of those walking around, so whilst there’s an audio element, we aren’t reling upon it to tell MTV’s story. Instead we really wanted to capture and show the business at work, reinforcing the message with text being overlaid.

As you can see the imagery moves fast - becuase when people are walking past your stand, we need to grab their attention quickly.
