Toyota & West Coast Eagles - Good For Footy 2022

Each year Toyota run Good For Footy; a raffle that runs across Australia that supports grassroots AFL teams in each state to raise funds for their club.

In January we worked with Toyota to capture a series of videos featuring Shannon Hurn and Dana Hooker from the West Coast Eagles. Each video of the 4 videos represented a different stage of the fundraising efforts - encouraging registration, encouraging Toyota dealers to get on board and support their local clubs, a video encouraging ticket sales and a thank you video - to be seen after the raffle had been drawn.

Players time is valuable and short, so these pieces were shot with a teleprompter to help the talent get through their lines.

In editing, we added in graphics to help comunicate the message, these both were to align the videos with the global Toyota brand guidelines as well as help align the video to the other videos from other states.

Along with the 16x9 versions shown here, we also created a series of 4x5 vertical versions that could be used on social media. With all versions being provided with and without captions so that the videos could be used flexibility as needed.


Capturing and creating a series videos, like what’s been created in the project, is a great way to bring your viewer on a journey. With that journey being captured at one time rather than multiple shoots.

This methodology could be used in a purchase decision; slowly funneling potential customers into your business or it could be used to explain a business process so that viewers feel engaged, informed and updated as they go along.
