Door Stop - Advertising Videos

We were referred by Andrew from Doyle Digital to David at Door Stop as a video production company who could help them to use video to reach more clients. Andrew had been working with David to refine his website, SEO and online marketing efforts and now they wanted to use video to market the business - primarily through the use of pre-roll adverts.

We met with Andrew and David to understand their problem and then proposed two series of videos that we believed would help the business Door Stop business reach more clients.

Along with the proposed pre-roll advertisements that could be used on streaming platforms such as YouTube, we also proposed a series of 3 longer ‘product specific’ videos that would help Door Stop’s website and marketing efforts.

The pre-roll videos needed to be short, as often ads are skippable, and showcase the best of the business.

We combined our footage with two different professional voiceovers to bring the videos together.

For the 3 product-specific videos we looked to introduce and explain 3 of Doorstop’s primary product lines - Bifold doors, Entrance doors and 1200 doors;- these are wider and have luxury features.

You’ll notice that these videos don’t have a voiceover and that’s because we felt these videos were more informal, less “direct sell” and therefore, by having David speak passionately about his products it really helps to build a relationship with the viewer and potential customer.

These videos were designed for their website - to introduce these product lines and explain Door Stop’s differences to other suppliers.

All the videos were provided in both a 16x9 and 4x5 format - meaning that Door Stop now has a toolkit of videos that they can reach into whenever they need marketing content.

The pre-roll advertising is already being used on YouTube - great to see that popping up and helping a local business.

If you’re looking for videos that help professionally market your business - be it a more “typical advertising” style, or where you need to inform and educate your potential client - then get in touch, we’re always happy to talk about how video could be helping your business.
