Curtin University - The Yarning Circle

We’ve worked with Curtin University a number of times since our start in 2012, more recently our projects with them have focused on more commercial property shoots.

This time however, their Facilities team wanted to shoot a video that was more of a narrative-driven story; documenting how the development of their Yarning Circle came about.

Behind the scenes we worked closely with members of the facility team at Curtin to understand the structure’s story, development and build. We then worked collaboratively to interview key members of the story and bring that story to life in the edit.

The interviews were held back to back, fighting the August weather. We then returned at a later date to shoot the overlay footage, capturing this in the early morning to make sure the Yarning Circle had the best light.

Stories like these provide interest to those who will use the area, they build interest, engagement, care and connection.

If you’re considering a different way to tell your story using video, feel free to get in touch.
