DJays Gourmet - Advertising Videos

 

When a business is built around quality and preparation, the process becomes part of the story.

DJays Gourmet, based in Malaga, approached us to create a series of marketing videos that would both explain their food preparation processes and promote their shop and online store.

The goal was simple: create engaging, short-form content that could be used across their website and social media to build awareness and drive interest.


 

Our Approach

This project was filmed across one full day at their Malaga facility.

To properly tell the story of their products - particularly their biltong and jerky - we needed to follow the preparation process from start to finish. That meant working around an active production environment.

Scripted filming with Arron from DJays was scheduled carefully around the business’s workflow. Because key areas of the facility are high-traffic meat preparation zones, we had to wait until they were quiet or finished for the day before setting up lights and recording scripted pieces.

When those spaces weren’t available, we pivoted - capturing overlay footage of the team at work, including meat being prepared, packed, and processed. This flexible approach allowed us to maximise the day without interrupting operations.

Creative & Content Strategy

The client came to us with a reference concept that inspired the tone for their overview videos. Using information they provided about their products and processes, we developed scripts designed to clearly explain how their biltong and jerky are made while keeping the delivery engaging.

Some of the videos move between different areas of the facility to fully showcase the scale and setup of the business. This created a technical challenge: maintaining continuity in lighting, framing, and tone as we shifted between locations.

In the edit, the focus was energy.

We created a fast-paced flow with quick cuts and motion graphics to give the videos a more dynamic, high-impact feel. The goal was to reflect the hands-on, active nature of the business — while keeping the content polished enough for advertising use.

What We Delivered

At the completion of the project, we delivered four final videos in multiple formats:

  • Two overview videos focused on DJays’ biltong and jerky processes
    Designed for website use and brand awareness advertising

  • One series of ads promoting the physical shop

  • One short-form social ad to support targeted online advertising

All content was formatted for use across their website and social platforms, giving the client flexibility in how and where they deploy the videos.
