Curtin University - Introducing the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology (MCEP) Course
We recently worked with Curtin University to help promote their Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (MCEP) program - producing a course overview video aimed at prospective students interested in the course.
Although we’ve worked with Curtin many times, each project usually involves a new department or team. In this case, we worked closely with the MCEP faculty to take the lead, Tanya to develop scripting, creative planning and overall project coordination.
Our Approach
We started by discussing the course with the MCEP lead and reviewing the university’s existing course documentation - to develop a clear, structured script. Once approved, we helped coordinate student-led activities to film and managed a busy one-and-a-half-day filming schedule across Curtin’s Bentley campus.
We interviewed students to share their first-hand experience of the course and filmed relevant teaching and practical activities. We also worked with the course coordinator to deliver a scripted piece to camera — giving the video a strong, informative backbone.
A key challenge with this project was timing — we needed to work around student schedules while also supporting nervous interviewees who weren’t used to being on camera. With a little encouragement and direction, we helped them feel comfortable and deliver natural, authentic answers.
What We Delivered
1 x 3:45 course overview video
Optimised for use on the Curtin website and in direct communication with prospective students.
Put to Work
Curtin is using the video to promote the MCEP program on their website and in outreach to interested students, giving a clear, engaging picture of what the course offers and what student life is really like.
