Bend-tech - Grizzly Workbench Product Videos

 

Not every product video needs to feel cinematic.

For Bend-tech Group’s Grizzly Workshop Gear range, the focus was on creating practical, effective video assets that could be put to work quickly — helping raise awareness, support sales, and clearly communicate the benefits of the product range.

Having worked with Bend-tech for the last 8 years across more than 160 projects, creating nearly 1,000 videos and even more photos, the process is highly collaborative and built around efficiency.


 

Our Approach

This project involved creating:

  • A product-specific video

  • A product range benefits video

Filmed at Bend-tech’s Welshpool premises, the production focused on refining and communicating the product’s key selling points in a clear and straightforward way.

Unlike heavily scripted productions, Bend-tech prefers a more conversational and flexible filming process.

So rather than memorising scripts, we work together on the day to refine messaging and guide the presenter through the important talking points.

This keeps the videos feeling natural and authentic to the business.

 

Filming for Speed & Practicality

One thing that has always stood out with Bend-tech - and that’s their focus on momentum.

Their priority is getting content out into the world quickly. We need to create assets that their sales team can immediately use across the company’s website, EDMs, LinkedIn, and marketing campaigns.

That means our creative approach is designed around efficiency:

  • Turn up when the client needs us

  • Capture what’s needed efficiently

  • Refine messaging on the fly

  • Deliver quickly - avoiding overworking the edit and not getting stuck in the review process.

For this project, we also worked with a new presenter, which changed the pacing slightly. Rather than overwhelming them with multiple videos in one session, we intentionally kept the production more focused to help them ease into presenting on camera comfortably. We want everyone on camera to have as relaxed and good a time as possible - not scar them and never get them back!

When filming with new talent, part of the process is learning how they naturally communicate before offering direction or coaching. Every presenter works differently, so collaboration and adaptability become just as important as the technical side of filming.

 
 

Creative & Technical Approach

The creative direction for these videos was intentionally practical.

The goal wasn’t to create highly stylised brand films - it was to create videos that clearly communicated:

  • What the product is

  • Why it matters

  • What separates the range from competitors’ offerings/products

This style of content works particularly well for industrial and trade-focused businesses because it prioritises clarity and usefulness over unnecessary polish. The style actually helps communicate the style of the brand.

 

What We Delivered

At the completion of the project, we delivered:

  • 1x Product Video

  • 1x Product Range Benefits Video

Both videos were delivered in:

  • 16×9 format for website and EDM use

  • 9×16 vertical format for social media

  • With and without captions so the client had options when using/posting

For Bend-tech specifically, LinkedIn plays a major role in their marketing strategy, so vertical and social-ready delivery was an important part of the workflow.

And by providing each version in both traditional and vertical formats, it allows for flexible use across multiple platforms and delivery methods.

This project reflects something we’ve learned over years of working with Bend-tech:

The best video strategy is the one that actually gets used.

For some businesses, speed, consistency, and practicality matter more than overproduced content — especially when the goal is supporting sales teams and maintaining regular communication with customers.

After 8 years of ongoing collaboration, the process has become less about “making a video” and more about building useful marketing assets that help the business grow over time…. and make sales.
