Swim State - Social Media Content

 

State Swim is an iconic Australian brand, running swimming pools and lessons throughout many states in Australia. They approached us to help them create a library of social media videos that would allow them to post regular, engaging, and authentic content online. The goal was to produce a collection of short videos that reflected the friendly, professional, and community-focused tone of their brand.

 
 

Our Approach

We worked closely with the State Swim Marketing Department to brainstorm and plan ideas ahead of the shoot. Because these videos were unscripted, much of the creative guidance and coaching happened on the day — allowing us to capture a more natural and genuine delivery from the talent.

Filming took place at their Butler swim school in Perth’s northern suburbs. On the day, we collaborated directly with the team to identify real challenges, experiences, and insights that could be shared through the videos. This approach ensured every piece of content felt authentic and relatable to both parents and students.

 
 

What We Delivered

In total, we created 16 short-form videos, all produced in vertical format with captions optimised for social media engagement. Each video was crafted to help State Swim consistently post meaningful and professional content that connects with their audience.

 
 

Project Highlights

Working with the swim school’s younger team members presented a fun challenge — our role was to help them communicate confidently and clearly on camera. Grace, our main presenter, was a standout, bringing energy and personality to every scene despite having limited on-camera experience.

Of course, filming around water always brings its quirks — swimming pools are notoriously tough for sound. During post-production, we took extra care to clean up audio and ensure every message came through clearly.

This project was all about authenticity — capturing the real people and passion behind the State Swim brand. The result is a set of dynamic, engaging videos that will help the team connect with their audience, share their expertise, and show off the human side of what they do best.
