Guide Dogs WA - International Guide Dogs Day 2017
Across the globe International Guide Dogs Day, celebrated this year on Wednesday 26th April, looks to celebrate Guide Dogs, the freedom they provide as well as recognising and the talented people who work behind the scenes to train these wonderful creatures.
So when Guide Dogs WA asked us to help showcase their event being held in Perth CBD, we jumped at the chance to work with such a worthwhile cause.
We wanted to deliver more than just a montage video, we wanted to really capture the difference that supporters of the charity make to the day-to-day lives of guide dog users and celebrate the volunteers that help bring this event together on the day. Let's check out what we delivered.
On the day we moved through the city, shooting and interviewing some of the guide dog users and volunteers who were out raising awareness and collecting money for the cause. And what we've delivered, we believe, is an engaging piece that tells a story, and shows just a small amount of the positive impact that a guide dog can give to someone with impaired vision.
Our congratulations go to Guide Dogs WA who raised almost $32,000 on the day, an amazing response!
